Celebrations

Celebrate Langley with us. Throughout the year we take the time to gather as community to celebrate our arts, our neighbors, the holidays; you name it.

Choochokam Arts Festival

The Choochokam Arts Festival has been connecting our art-rich community with art enthusiasts from around the world for 33 years. From fine arts to performing arts, Langley's streets come alive July 10-11, 2010!

Come Home for the Holidays

There's nothing like coming home for the holidays, and Langley's tradition of welcoming its locals and visitors with the sites and sounds of the holidays unlike any other seaside town's celebration. The holidays begin on Thanksgiving weekend and continue through December. Come see the Lighting of Langley on Saturday, Nov. 28th at 4 pm complete with Santa and his Alpaca-deers!

Langley Mystery Weekend

Every year there's a murder in Langley. Surprisingly our perpetrators choose late February to pull their dastardly deeds. In 2010, Langley's Mystery Weekend celebrates its 26th anniversary on February 27 and 28. The weekend begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and wraps up at 4:30 p.m. Sunday with the murderer revealed and incarcerated. Awards given to top sleuths. Come and play the world's longest running annual murder mystery!

Welcome the Whales

When the whales return to Saratoga Passage below Langley's seawall, residents and guests welcome them with open arms. Children and adults, alike, enjoy the festivities which include a Welcome the Whales parade of species and seaside celebration. Come welcome the whales with us on April 17, 2010!
