Aldermarsh/North House

Aldermarsh embraces evolution and is in constant change.
Change is the only constant; perhaps an overused phrase, yet here at Aldermarsh we are experimenting with this constancy in our inextricable unity with All That Is. We live in a collective generative community.
We steward over 11 acres of beautiful wetlands laced with walkways and teaming with wildlife. With over half of the land declared a wetland, the former owner saw it as a utility and manure dump. This compost was later cherished and used to create the flourishing gardens you see today.
The teachings of the retreats that come here linger in their influence of the evolution of this environment. Groups/individuals come and create an energy that continues to feed this community for the future. We see our community as a microcosm of what is possible.
Aldermarsh has a gathering place called The Marsh House. This building is over 1000 square feet that can accommodate meetings, circles, movement, yoga, and meditation. It includes a service room with shower, filtered water system and bathroom facilities.
Aldermarsh can comfortably accommodate 15 to 25 guests. We have a ceremonial cordwood sauna, Japanese soaking tub, and beautifully maintained grounds.
